Thirty years of caring for children — and counting.
I'm the caregiver behind Mary Poppins 4 You. I've spent more than three decades in homes just like yours — learning that what children need most isn't a schedule or a curriculum. It's someone who genuinely loves being with them.

How it all started
I didn't plan to spend my life caring for other people's children. It happened naturally — a neighbor needed help, then a friend, then a friend of a friend. What I discovered was that I had a gift for it. Not just patience, but genuine delight in the way children see the world.
I went back to school to formalize what I already knew instinctively, earning my Early Childhood Education degree. The theory confirmed what experience had already taught me: children flourish when they feel safe, seen, and loved — and the rest follows naturally.
My approach
Your home, your rules — my full attention.
Every family is different. Some children need structure and predictability; others need room to explore and get messy. I take the time to understand your child before I ever start, so the care I give feels like an extension of what you already do at home — not a replacement for it.
I follow your routines, your dietary preferences, your screen-time rules, your bedtime rituals. I'm not here to impose my own ideas about how children should be raised. I'm here to support yours.
Every day is a chance to make a child feel genuinely cared for.
Safety, trust, and the long view
I'm CPR and First Aid certified, fully background checked, and insured. These aren't just boxes I've ticked — they're part of how seriously I take the responsibility of being in your home with your children.
The families I work with longest are the ones who started with a single babysitting evening and realized they'd found someone they could genuinely rely on. That's what I'm here to be — not just a caregiver, but a trusted part of your family's support system.

who I am
A grandmother's warmth with a professional's training.
I've raised children of my own, cared for grandchildren, and spent three decades in other families' homes. That combination — lived experience and formal education — is what makes the care I offer different.
I know what it feels like to leave your child with someone new. I take that trust seriously every single day.
Every child deserves to feel completely at ease with the person looking after them.
That's not a slogan. It's the standard I hold myself to every day. When a child is comfortable, curious, and happy — that's when I know I've done my job well.
What guides every day I spend with your children
Three principles I've carried through thirty years of caring for children — not aspirations, but habits.
Warmth, not just professionalism
Credentials matter — but so does the feeling a child gets when they see me walk through the door. I work hard to be someone your children genuinely look forward to spending time with.
Consistency your family can count on
Children thrive on routine. I follow your schedules, your rules, and your preferences — not because I have to, but because I understand how much it matters for a child to feel safe and settled.
Open, honest communication
You should never have to wonder how your child's day went. I give you real updates — the funny moments, the milestones, and anything you need to know — so you always feel close even when you're away.
